More than 20 years ago, it was known that a group of medical professionals, engineers, and researchers discovered a proprietary method for synthesizing Redox Signaling molecules originally native to the human body, but these molecules were too fleeting to be stabilized.

After retiring from a distinguished career with Kraft Foods, Verdis Norton began serving on the board of a small biotech company whose preliminary work in redox molecule synthesis had produced promising results, but the project was shelved due to a lack of funding. Convinced of its breakthrough potential, Verdis pooled resources to acquire the discontinued technology. ASEA then commissioned its own team of medical professionals, scientists, and engineers to advance the research, further improved and expanded the proprietary process, and more patents were added.
