ASEA Side Effects

Concerned about ASEA dangers or potential bad side effects?

We've got you covered!

Is ASEA Safe?

Redox signaling molecules are native to the body, non-toxic, and have no drug interactions

So far, everything suggests that ASEA is safe to use! It is 100% non-toxic, because redox signaling molecules are naturally produced in every cell of our bodies. The other components of ASEA Redox are sodium chloride (salt) and water, which are also native to the body! And for those with sodium sensitivities, note that each 2oz serving of asea only has 0.155mg of salt. That is 50x less sodium than the 8mg found in a single baby carrot. Given their presence in all cells, redox signaling molecules do not alter the effectiveness of medications, and have no interactions with other drugs.

The Research—

We examined thousands of reviews, every clinical study available, FDA guidelines and manufacturing practices, safety summaries, and factored in 10 years of personal experience, to determine if there are any adverse consequences to taking ASEA Redox.

The Findings—

From this, we have found no evidence of significant negative side effects from using ASEA Redox. For all purposes, research indicates that ASEA Redox is harmless and safe to use!

What the Reviews Say

2500+ testimonials, only 5 reviews of negative side effects, 80% positive reviews

From over 2500 testimonials [here] [here] [here], the only negative side effects we could find were 3 people saying they felt bloated, and 2 people reporting dizziness. In contrast, about 80% of reviewers gave 5-star and 4-star ratings, citing positive effects from using ASEA Redox. Some directly stated that they didn’t experience any side effects. You can check out ASEA health benefits [here]. Most of the remaining 20% of reviewers described little to no change. We personally have not observed side effects in a decade of usage.

Is ASEA Redox right for you?

It depends on your body’s existing balance of redox signaling molecules and antioxidants

As with all supplements, the effects people observe with ASEA Redox can vary depending on many factors. Since ASEA products target different sides of your redox system, only those who need more redox signaling molecules would benefit from the ASEA Redox Water Supplement. Meanwhile, those who need antioxidants would see better results with the ASEA VIA or Cell Performance lines. Whether you need redox signaling molecules or antioxidants, depends on your existant health conditions, genetics, body composition, and nutritional habits. The best is ASEA provides a 30 days money-back guarantee for you to try.

Redox balance is different for people with health conditions

From what we’ve seen in testimonials and word of mouth, those who see the most drastic results are usually the people struggling with persistent health problems. This may be because their redox states are more imbalanced than healthier individuals. For example, those who suffer from chronic granulamatous disease are prone to infections due to genetic defiencies in redox signaling molecules. The time it takes to see results also depends on what you are trying to treat. Skin irritations can be quick to soothe, but things like heart health may take months to observe. As with most dietary supplements, ASEA Redox is not recommended for pregnant or nursing mothers.

If you do feel any negative side effects, please stop using supplements immediately

Most importantly, research indicates that cell signaling is optimal at only slightly elevated levels of redox signaling molecules. So please do not rush and overconsume any supplements. Please follow supplement instructions. Most people recommend taking ASEA Redox on an empty stomach. Again, even though ASEA is non-toxic, if you feel any negative side effects, do not continue usage. You can always give it another try later, but it’s best to take a break first. Furthermore, it’s never a bad idea to consult a doctor you trust!

How to Check for Side Effects

The best way to observe possible negative side effects is to maintain your normal routine as much as possible, with the only difference being your new ASEA supplement. We also recommend using health trackers, so you can get a better understanding of your baseline, and have records of changes over time!

Tips on Starting New Supplements

Start small with 2oz or less per day, when trying ASEA for the first few times. Then, you can gradually increase to 4oz or more, depending on your needs! Some athletes even take up to 8oz a day to combat stress on their bodies.

ASEA Safety Summaries and Clinical Trials

No adverse effects or toxicity reported in a clinical trial and an in-vitro study on ASEA

We found thousands of studies on redox signaling molecules, and 8 studies on ASEA itself. Out of 8 of those, 2 were specifically dedicated to safety:

ASEA Redox Supplement Human Consumption Safety Study

Clinical trial conducted by researchers at the Human Performance Laboratory at Appalachian State University.

Protocol
106 overweight women, ages 20 to 73 years old. Participants were placed in randomized groups under double-blind conditions (so neither the participants nor the researchers know who was under which condition). For 12 weeks, they either drank 4oz of ASEA Redox Supplement (experimental group) or 4oz of pure saline solution (placebo). The saline solution was similar to ASEA Redox, but did not contain catalytic processing of redox signaling molecules. Blood samples were taken before the study, and every month during the trial. Diagnostics were analyzed by the Carolina Medical Center Clinical Laboratory in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Results
Results indicated no changes in liver or kidney function for either groups. Complete blood counts showed no differences in hemoglobin, hematocrit, or red blood cell counts for either group over 12 weeks. Participants reported no negative side effects. Overall, researchers found no significant differences between groups, and concluded that ASEA Redox was safe to drink as per instructions!

ASEA Redox Supplement In Vitro Product Safety Study

In-vitro (test tube) study conducted by Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.

Protocol
Instead of using people for this study, researchers tested ASEA Redox directly on eukaryotic cells (cells with a nucleus, that make up all humans). In simple terms, when eukaryotic cells encounter toxins, they respond by releasing proteins (aka transcription factors) that enter the nucleus to switch genes on or off (aka gene expression), thereby activating defense and protection mechanisms. These proteins can be stained with fluorescent dyes, visible under a microscope. So if ASEA was toxic and triggered defense mechanisms, then the cell nuclei would glow. Otherwise, if ASEA was non-toxic, there would be no difference in fluorescence.

Researchers exposed cell cultures to 4 different conditions:
1. Negative control— phosphate buffered saline, no toxic response expected
2. 5% ASEA Redox Supplement
3. 20% ASEA Redox Supplement
4. Positive control— known toxin

Results
Even at a high concentration of the ASEA Redox Supplement at 20%, there was no significant toxic response difference observed, compared to the positive control. Researchers concluded that ASEA Redox does not trigger toxic or inflammation responses when exposed to tissue.

FDA-Compliant and NSF-Approved

According to ASEA, all their products are registered with the FDA. To ensure the highest standards of safety, they strictly adhere to the laws and guidelines established by the FDA for dietary supplements. The manufacturing facilities are FDA compliant, and also NSF certified. NSF is a public health and safety organization, that has deemed ASEA’s production site as a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) facility. The quality of the redox signaling molecules has also been approved by impartial third-party labs like BQC and GLU-mbH.
